Introducing... We Three Strings... the men behind the music... Tom, Jon and Mike started the Strings in early 1999, when life was humming along smoothly, and band jobs for the RRs & the BCs were few and far between. They all had this dream of starting up a "strings-only" band that featured the forgotten classics from simpler times. There was, of course, the added extra that they all come from the same family and have managed to grin and bear one another's idiosyncracies for many, many years. And on that same note, they all have an appreciation for the same style of music. So there you have it, a simple idea to start up something unique and fun that has spawned a distinct following for easy-listenin', classic-soundin', banjo-pickin', Elvis-croonin', memory inducin' cover tunes in a very laid-back setting...

The Strings especially enjoy featuring the talents of "kin" musicians. Appearances by Jerry Brown and Rob Pearson are on the menu at almost every Strings performance.
